REAL VIRTUAL TOURS LLC and www.OKCHomeTours.com were started with one objective in mind: To provide affordable movie virtual tours, quality still photography and hosting for Home Sellers by Realtors in the Edmond and Oklahoma City Metropolitan area.
We are the first local company to provide true moving virtual tours and hosting all in one convenient package. We want the home buyer to envision themselves as being right inside the home itself, and as if they were walking through, when viewing the virtual tour.
Our goal is to help you, the Realtor to make your home more visible and more appealing to home buyers; getting more traffic to your listing, therefore getting your home sold quicker. So...we take better quality pictures of detail and the things that buyers are looking at when looking at a home. Our Movie Tours show off the homes' assets and detail rather than just a regular tour showing four walls in a 360 degree panoramic. We want to create tours that will entice the buyer to call you, the Realtor, and make an appointment with you to see the home.
My Story:
I worked and a Realtor for 2 years. In the beginning I tried all the traditional means of marketing like: mailing postcards, letters, farming communities, marketing my sphere of influence, etc. I did not get even on response. I thought “if I were looking for a home to buy, how would I go about searching…especially if I were from another state”. I realized the number one way that people now look for homes is by using the Internet. So, I went with what I know…I built a website and marketed myself that way. I sold one and one-half million the first year just on relocation itself. After researching virtual tours and realized that I just didn’t like the way they were being done. I didn’t like feeling like I was in a bubble, or chasing the mouse cursor to see the room, or just spinning in 360 degree around the room (I haven’t seen a buyer yet who just stands in the center of a room and spins in a full circle to see the room). I also realized that after researching ‘keywords’ that people use to enter in Google or Yahoo to find homes…the ones used most are words like: ‘homes with virtual tours’. Buyers want to see the inside of a home without having to call a realtor (sales person) first, and we live in a fast-food society—they want to see the inside right away. So I decided to make virtual tours for myself on my website that would attract buyers and not irritate them. I had more customers calling me without having to mail anything out. Other colleagues had seen my tours and wanted some for themselves. The requests became so many that Real Virtual Tours LLC (OKC Home Tours) was born.
My Philosophy:
I have had Realtors ask why I don’t display all of the homes on my site so a buyer can browse for homes. I also have had Realtors ask why I don’t have more resources like schools, community links, etc. The answer is simple. When I was a Realtor, and since I worked for commission, I didn’t want any potential business to go to another realtor. If you, the Realtor, pay for a virtual tour, then your potential buyers should be able to go directly to your tour. They should not have to search a website by state, then city, to find your tour…potentially coming across another listing by another realtor. The only way to get to your tour is through you, the Realtor. My philosophy is to brand the realtor, not OKC Home Tours. That is why I don’t have resources on my website. I want the buyers to go to you, the Realtor. All of our tours are linked to your website, your company website and whatever website you want. We can also link to Realtor.com for a nominal fee. You also get 2 DVDs of the tour and 1 CD of the pictures of the home. The DVDs are great listing tools. Show these DVDs at your listing appointments and you will get the listing.
